Fourth of July in the Mountains

Dusty, muted blues and reds gave this color scheme a vintage New England appeal. Veering away from the typical vibrant and loud red, white and blues, the overall effect exudes a tone of formality and sophistication, while retaining the patriotic, light-spirited intent.
The table treatments consist of deep blue denim under-lays with rusty barn red and creamy white striped overlays. Matching napkins are adorned in distressed metal stars.
Signature barn wood boxes of Harrington Smith boast a playful assortment of gerbera daisies, hydrangea, thistle, and delphinium.
The view doesn't hurt the impressiveness of this party, either.

Mountain Top Wedding

Cocoa brown pintucks create a rich, warm backdrop for
hot white flowers arranged in an assortment of polished silver.

Dim warm lights and candlelight set an elegant and romantic mood.

Using monochromatic white flowers keeps the scheme modern, fresh,
and perfect for a late Spring to early Summer wedding.

The darkening blue night sky in the background contrasts
beautifully with the warm interior, at this reception on top of Aspen Mountain.

Spring Wedding: Part 3: The Centerpieces

The place settings rest atop striped pale gold l'amour linens.

Arrangements don't have to be a wide variety of colors and flowers
to make a strong impression. The monobotanical and monochromatic
color scheme here is simplistic and makes a bold statement.

Hints of yellow-tinged white flowers add subtle accents.

Several arrangements of varied hues and textures were interspersed throughout the room.

Spring Wedding: Part Two: The Celebration

The couple is received into a setting of rich golden hues, a luxurious atmosphere of warmth and elation. Twinkling  votives drape elegantly from the delicate vines traversing the ceiling; Imitating the clear Colorado night sky.

Tall arrangements scattered throughout the room
offer a dramatic contrast to the lower arrangements.
Varying the heights of centerpieces is an effective way to
create a dynamic setting.

The long head table boasts clusters of
monobotanical arrangements.
